Our schools
Becoming Education brings together <A21>nurseries, Kindergartens, primary schools and lower secondary schools that are bilingual in Italian and English<A22>, to support children and young people aged 0 to 13.
Our schools share the same educational vision: to put every child and young person at the centre, to build strong relationships, and to learn through experiences that help them grow with independence and self-awareness.

Bilingual nurseries for children aged 0–3
In our nurseries, we recognise, right from the earliest years, the abilities, curiosity and individual ways in which each child engages with the world.
Drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia Approach, we create experiences in which relationships, play, exploration and discovery become opportunities for learning. The learning environments, materials, nature and outdoor experiences are designed to stimulate curiosity, inquiry and independence.
Italian and English become a natural part of everyday life, experiences, routines and relationships, enabling children to encounter the sounds and words of a second language in authentic situations from a very young age.
Every nursery has its own history and its own characteristics. We share the same approach to children: we observe what they do, listen to their pace and interests, and, based on these, we plan activities and document their learning processes, sharing them with families.
Our nurseries are located in Milan, Monza, Biassono, Desio, Varese, Bologna, Florence, Scandicci and Rome. Explore our locations and find the one closest to your family.
Bilingual Kindergartens for children aged 3–6
In our Kindergartens, boys and girls aged 3 to 6 learn together to ask questions, experiment and build new knowledge. Drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia Approach, we nurture their curiosity and the different ways in which they explore the world. The learning environments, materials, nature and outdoor experiences provide opportunities to observe, experiment, create and collaborate.
Italian and English coexist in everyday life, creating a bilingual environment in which all children are exposed to and use both languages in meaningful contexts.
Each school interprets this project through its own identity, its own spaces and its own local area. What unites them is a shared educational vision, pedagogical supervision and an approach to planning that stems from observing the children and shapes, day by day, experiences designed to foster curiosity and critical thinking. Documentation makes the learning processes visible and enables them to be shared with the children and their families.
Our Kindergartens are located in Milan, Varese, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Modena and Vedano al Lambro. Explore our locations and find the one closest<A73> to your family.
Bilingual primary schools for children aged 6–11
In our primary schools, the new ministerial guidelines are put into practice through an approach that helps children understand what they are learning by linking different subjects. We learn through research, workshops, STEAM and interdisciplinary projects, building connections between knowledge and experience.
All our primary schools are bilingual, with approximately 50 per cent of lessons taught in English and 50 per cent in Italian. Each school implements this approach through its own educational programme, which in some branches is enhanced by international programmes such as the IB PYP or Cambridge International, as well as language qualifications. This model combines the solidity of the Italian curriculum with an international outlook, making English a language experienced on a daily basis, not just a subject to be studied.
Our primary schools are located in Milan, Vedano al Lambro, Fagnano Olona, Varese and Modena. Explore our schools and compare the different educational programmes.
Bilingual lower secondary schools (ages 11–13)
In our lower secondary schools, pupils learn to study independently, to explore their existing knowledge in greater depth and to form their own points of view. The new ministerial guidelines and European competences are brought to life through lessons, workshops, research, STEAM, interdisciplinary projects, debate and public speaking.
All our lower secondary schools are bilingual, with approximately 50 per cent of lessons taught in English and 50 per cent in Italian. At some sites, the teaching approach is based on the IB methodology; at others, on the Cambridge methodology.
We help pupils consolidate their knowledge, develop effective study habits and learn to articulate their thoughts. We also help them identify their interests, aptitudes and strengths, so that they can make a more informed choice about their next educational path. In this way, we prepare them to make the transition to upper secondary school – whether Italian or international – with a solid foundation.
Our lower secondary schools are located in Milan, Vedano al Lambro and Fagnano Olona. Explore our campuses and find out more about each programme.
