Our strengths

Becoming Education is a network of bilingual nurseries and schools for children aged 0 to 13 that share a common educational approach The educational choices that define this approach span the different age groups and are brought to life every day in our schools.

From nursery to lower secondary school, each stage of development has its own characteristics and forms part of the 0–13 pathway, designed to ensure consistency and continuity in the educational experience.
Italian and English are part of everyday life from a very early age. The two languages are experienced through relationships, experiences and learning, in ways that evolve as the children and young people grow.
Emotional and relational development is a constant feature of the educational journey from the earliest years. In primary and secondary school, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is incorporated into the curriculum, helping pupils to develop self-awareness, the ability to navigate relationships, and the capacity to understand and regulate their own emotions.
Through outdoor education, nature, the neighbourhood and places in the city become part of the educational experience. Getting to know them and experiencing them helps children and young people to feel that they are part of their own world and to look after them.
Spaces and materials form part of the educational programme: they are designed and curated to spark curiosity, encourage exploration and social interaction, and foster growing independence.
Our relationship with food has educational value: in nurseries and Kindergartens, mealtimes are an opportunity to build relationships and develop independence; in primary and secondary schools, the Taste Club also involves families to promote a more mindful approach to food.
Learning stems from curiosity. Questions give rise to exploration, hypotheses and connections that help children and young people build knowledge and, as they grow, become more independent in their approach to learning.
Educators and teachers are at the heart of our schools. Their professionalism is nurtured through dialogue, exchange and ongoing professional development, supported further by the presence of a qualified educational specialist in every school.
Our partnership with families is an integral part of our approach to schooling. Through dialogue, listening and discussion, we build, over time, a relationship based on trust and a shared responsibility for education.
